Your definition of geopolitics sounds like it came from Wikipedia. What geopolitics is in reality, is the systematized methodology of the British Empire: the world as a zero-sum game, where a nation can only become strong by making others weak. It's the method of identifying your top two competitors, and trying to manipulate them into fighting each other. It's the sabotage of rising powers by funding and arming terrorist groups in their vicinity, as the neocons did with radical Islamists throughout southern Asia and the Mideast, and then with neo-Nazis in Ukraine.
